      <title>Leah Silverthorn Joins Firm</title>
      <description>&lt;p&gt;&lt;a title="Leah Silverthorn Bio" href="../../attorney/leah-b-silverthorn" target="_blank"&gt;Leah B. Silverthorn&lt;/a&gt;&amp;nbsp;has joined Wooden &amp;amp; McLaughlin as a new associate.&amp;nbsp; Leah focuses her practice on defending clients, including businesses, municipalities, and individuals from claims made by the Environmental Protection Agency, the Indiana Department of Environmental Management, and adjacent or subsequent property owners.&amp;nbsp; She is regularly involved in complex, multi-party litigation under the Comprehensive Environmental Response, Compensation and Liability Act (CERCLA) and similar state laws before Federal and State courts.&amp;nbsp; Leah also has significant experience recovering environmental costs for her clients, as well as determining environmental insurance coverage.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;Leah has also represented individuals, real estate developers, and municipalities on all aspects of Brownfields redevelopment and environmental due diligence.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;Ms.&amp;nbsp;Silverthorn received her&amp;nbsp;B.S. from Indiana University in 2004 and her&amp;nbsp;J.D. from Indiana University Robert H. McKinney Schoolf of Law in&amp;nbsp;2007.&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp; Leah is admitted to the Indiana State Bar, Federal Bar, and 9th Circuit Court of Appeals.&amp;nbsp; She is also a member of the&amp;nbsp;American, Indiana State, Federal,&amp;nbsp;and Indianapolis Bar Associations.&lt;/p&gt;</description>
